About the opportunity

Our national corporate advisory team have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Solicitor based in Tāmaki Makaurau. As part of our team, you'll get to play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier legal counsel to our diverse clientele, both national and international.

From day one you will have direct partner engagement and will have the opportunity to assist in the provision of high quality and commercially astute legal services to our clients, giving you the opportunity to work on mergers and acquisitions, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, structuring, joint ventures and governance, capital raising, procurement and advisory work.

About you

• You will be admitted to practice in New Zealand with 0 – 2 years PQE.


• Able to take a commercial and pragmatic approach to providing advice.


• Have strong contract reviewing and drafting stills.


• Able to work independently and demonstrate sound judgement and problem solving skills.


• Have the ability to thrive and deliver quality results under pressure, adapt well to change and respond positively to feedback.
