The Opportunity



We are looking for passionate, motivated people to join our Community Care sales team as a Solutions Specialist. You will have the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of the people and families we work with and put your own stamp on our journey. This role specifically focuses on community care, making knowledge or a desire to specialize in this area crucial. 


 


 


The Role


 


We’re looking for a Solutions Specialist to join our team in Tauranga. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other key contacts in your assigned territory. You’ll work collaboratively to promote our community care products and deliver tailored solutions that help our clients live better lives.



As the face of Cubro, you will represent our brand and values through exceptional service and solution-focused engagement. Success in this role means becoming a trusted advisor—someone our customers look to first in the industry. A passion for working with people, strong customer focus, and a proactive mindset are essential. A background in sales, account management, healthcare, or education is preferred. We provide comprehensive training on all our current and upcoming equipment, enabling you to become a subject matter expert in supporting your territory.




Key Responsibilities 


 


This role is a ‘on-the-road’ service that take our experience and solution to the customers. This can be through joint visits, department visits, in services and, product demonstration.



  • Customer Visits & Consultation - Respond to therapist requests by conducting onsite visits, assessing client needs, setting up equipment, and resolving enquiries with expert product knowledge and a consultative sales approach.

  • Promote Cubro’s Equipment & Services - Proactively raise awareness through events, training sessions, and product displays, confidently representing the full range of Cubro solutions.

  • Develop & Maintain Relationships - Build strong, long-term relationships to position Cubro as the preferred provider; monitor CRM data to identify sales opportunities.

  • Training - Deliver equipment training to clients and staff and contribute to video tutorials for internal and external use.

  • Identify Opportunities - Gather field feedback and collaborate with business development to improve products and services.

  • Maintain System Accuracy - Ensure accurate and timely data entry using appropriate tools and follow internal processes.

  • Market Awareness - Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity


 


 


The Ideal Candidate


 



  • A passion for working with people and making a difference

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A customer centric mindset

  • A desire to work collaboratively both internally and externally to achieve great outcomes for our clients

  • Excellent relationship building and account management skills 

  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritise and complete tasks on time

  • Technical nous and a desire to learn new things 

  • An engaging, positive and empathetic personality 

  • Strong account management/business development DNA is desired

  • A preference to be out on the road servicing clients, with the ability to travel overnight at times

  • Knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology preferred

  • 3+ years experience in a health, education, or sales role

  • A related tertiary qualification would be advantageous (Business, education, health)

  • Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full driver’s license and consent to a police vetting check to be an eligible candidate. You will also be willing to be vaccinated should this become a mandatory job requirement.
