Sound Recordist

Park Road Post Production is a premier post-production facility in Miramar, Wellington, and is part of the WingNut Group of companies.  It was built from the ground up to complete post-production on international films alongside local features, short films and television.  The facility incorporates Picture, Sound, On-set and VFX services. 

We are looking for an amazing Sound Recordist to join our tight-knit, world-class sound team who provide exceptional service and skills to our contractors and clients. 

What you’ll do:

As a Sound Recordist, your role will include responsibility for both Foley and ADR recording. 

You will be a collaborative and team-focussed individual who thrives in a creative environment and enjoys working closely with colleagues fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. 

We’re looking for someone with: 

• Fluent in Pro Tools.
• Sound knowledge of editorial workflow, Foley and ADR, along with other relevant equipment.
• Strong knowledge of sound engineering principles and techniques.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Familiarity with studio recording, film sound and post-production techniques.
• Understanding of signal flow, gain staging, and routing.
