Spaces and Places Consultant

Reporting to the Spaces and Places Manager, the Spaces and Places Consultant provides expertise, advice and support to the work to Sport NZ's partners, as well as the wider play, active recreation and sport system, on spaces and places (facilities) planning, design, investment, construction and operation; to ensure more New Zealanders have better places to play, actively recreate and participate in sport.

The successful individual will have Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role, specialist knowledge and considerable experience in the design, procurement, development, funding or operation/management of sports and recreation facilities and experience in developing and implementing facilities strategies, including managing programmes and budgets.
