Job Description - Sr Operator, Manufacturing

:
Support daily production of various ion exchange resins to meet customer demand.
Maintain stocks of raw materials consistent with the production plan requirements.
Manage a range of records ensuring that all information is correct, traceable and completed real time. 
Participate in a broad range of task’s from manufacturing to cleaning to assure efficient operation of the business.
Use the experience and skills gained as part of your development to help solve moderate to complex challenges within process guidelines and support others to do the same.
Contribute ideas and practice continuous improvement in advancing quality, cost, customer satisfaction and productivity gains.
Adhere to environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Working Conditions:
You will work in an office, factory, and laboratory environment. The role requires lifting up to 20kg and standing for long periods of time while performing duties. You will be working with chemicals and hazardous materials and appropriate training and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. We do have some flexibility around working hours and encourage interested candidates to apply so that we can discuss preferences. 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • An understanding, interest or qualification in chemistry would be an advantage
  •  Hard working, honest and fun-loving people will fit in well with the existing small team
