We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Store Manager- Mt Wellington Store to join our talented team at LIFESTYLE FURNITURE in Mount Wellington, Auckland.

We are an Established Furniture Retailer with 8 Stores nationwide. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Store Manager for our Lifestyle Furniture store, Mt Wellington Branch, who can oversee the smooth running of our business. You should be excellent at customer service, and sales and initiative-taking to keep up with the business.

Key Responsibilities, however, are not limited to:

  • Oversee the smooth running of the store.
  • Achieving Store and individual sales targets
  • Stock ordering and receiving.
  • Store Budgeting and Staff sales KPIs reviews.
  • Managing the store sales team and making sure they are meeting sales targets.
  • Training and coaching the sales team.
  • Implementation of company promotions as per guidelines
  • Making sure the store is always health and safety compliant.
  • Maintaining high standards of store merchandising
  • Delivering superior customer service and developing key relationships with Stakeholders.
  • Completing rolling stock takes as per company guidelines.
  • Maintaining database integrity

Required Qualities: Professional Approach, ability to work under pressure, Time Management skills, excellent attention to detail, Team leadership ability, Honesty, Positive approach to change.

Skills and Experience required:

- The ideal candidate will be a mature person who can oversee responsibilities for the store and staff
- Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or Store management role.

- Written and oral communication with others, both internally and externally

- Willing to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.

- Knowledge and working experience in Computers software and MS Office

Working hours and days: Min 37 hours per week and Max up to 47 hours per week or as per store requirements. Two days off on weekdays. Weekends (Sat / Sun) and long weekends are compulsory to work.
