We are looking for a dynamic, energertic and enthusiastic individual to Manage our new store to be opened 1 August 2024.
Toyworld is returning to Rotorua after close to 12 year. Toyworld is a highly recognised and respected brand “where the best toys come from”.
The store will be operated by our company which already owns and operates Toyworld and Paper Plus in Te Awamutu and Paper Plus in Rotorua. The manager will therefore work closely with these other stores to ensure we optimise the results for both customers and our company.
The manager will have oversite responsibility for the small team, ensuring the store is well presented and merchandised, and that customer service is first class. The store manager will work with the Toy Buyer in the Te Awamutu store to ensure the range of products on offer through leveraging purchasing opportunities between the two stores. The store manager will take the lead role across the two stores for buying for designated brands.
The role will require the Manager to either work Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience operating in a retail environment, ideally with some of that time in a management role, however more importantly the person will demonstrate an organised can do attitude and willingness to learn.
The store will be opening on 1 August 2024 however it is expected that the Manager will commence mid July to support the owner to ensure that the store is ready for opening day.
