Storeperson - Auckland Airport - Continuous Learning Opportunities

We are currently seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our dynamic team. This position is ideally suited for a physically fit entry-level candidate. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of our airport warehouse. Your responsibilities will include the cleanliness and upkeep of storage areas, as well as ensuring goods are received, stored and delivered in line with internal procedures and in compliance with HACCP and Food Safety standards.

Requirements

• Assist in handling of inward and outgoing of goods including performing temperature testing & quality control, while maintaining accurate records in logbooks
• Demonstrate a solid understanding HACCP and Food Safety standards
• Assist with stock rotation and maintaining accurate stock inventory record
• Ensure cleanliness of storage areas, including cool rooms located at all outlets
• Follow standard operating procedures to maintain the security of stock
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Check delivery invoices against purchase orders, report any discrepancies
• Provide support to other departments as required
• Flexibility to a work varied roster of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days and nights
• Must have reliable own transport as some shifts are not supported by public transport to and/or from the airport

 Qualifications

• Prior experience in airport stores / warehousing environment preferred
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Basic proficiency in computer skills
• Possession of a Forklift Licence is

• Rate range of $23.56 - $25.21 per hour
