The Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Christchurch team. This is a full-time role that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the transport and logistics industry.

Whether you're looking to enter the industry or further develop your existing logistics experience, Mackleys will provide the training, support, and development opportunities to help you succeed.

What We're Looking For:

• Current Class 1 licence preferred (Class 2 or above an advantage but not essential)
  • Current Forklift and OSH certificates preferred but not essential
  • Previous warehouse, freight, logistics or storeman experience is essential
  • A willingness to learn and grow your career within the transport and logistics industry
  • A commitment to health and safety and ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and others
  • The ability to use technology and adapt to new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a tidy, organised work ethic
  • A customer-first attitude – you take pride in delivering great service
  • Reliable, punctual, and high-energy, with a strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and capable of safely handling the demands of a busy warehouse and freight environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a strong team culture

What We Offer:

• A minimum of 40 hours per week, with consistent, full-time work
  • Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours available

Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal conviction check
  • Must complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand – Mackleys is an accredited employer with Immigration NZ
