Job Description - Student Accommodation Night Support

Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are seeking a Student Accommodation Night Support (known internally as Night Supervisor) to join our team, working rostered night shifts in our student residences. This vital role ensures our students feel safe, supported, and part of a positive community. We have two vacancies, both based in central Auckland at our Waiparuru and O'Rorke Halls.

You will be the first point of contact for residents needing pastoral care or well-being support during the night. This isn’t a traditional security role, you’ll lead on health, safety, and security, making sure protocols are followed, emergencies are handled, and first aid is provided when needed.

When not responding to incidents or patrolling, you’ll be responsible for completing general administrative and coordination tasks.

Our Student accommodation team provides housing for over 4,500 students across a variety of accommodation styles, from first-year halls to self-catered apartments for senior students. We aim to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable community that feels like home for our students.

For more information about this role, please refer to the full position description HERE
