Study Coordinator Team Lead

The Role

• Plan, coordinate, and administer a portfolio of clinical trials as assigned by the Research Manager.
• Manage the project life cycle to ensure effective delivery of objectives.
• Act as a senior team leader to support the Research Manager in mentoring, oversight, and recruitment for the team.
• Manage direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with NZCR Policies and Procedures.
• Run studies in accordance with the Protocol, Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Working Procedures (WPs), and applicable regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of ethical principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements for clinical research.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, and ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with colleagues and external parties.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in analysing, developing, and maintaining office workflows and administrative processes.
• Excellent organization, planning, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and networked computer systems.
