Job Description - Supplies, Equipment and Catering Coordinator

The Role
Full-Time (40 Hours per Week), Permanent
The Supplies, Equipment and Catering Coordinator ensures the availability of equipment, manages clinical and operational supplies, and coordinates catering services to support smooth and efficient clinical trial operations. Key responsibilities include:
Managing externally supplied equipment from receipt to return and supporting internal staff with troubleshooting and technical queries.
Performing electronic file management and quality checks on ECG, Holter, EEG, and other study-related equipment.
Preparing Holter/EEG/telemetry packs and maintaining consumables in readiness and within expiry.
Liaising with Study Coordinators and external suppliers to maintain stock levels, catering requirements, linen supplies, and clinical waste management.
Assisting in documentation for new equipment, including SOPs, training, and operating instructions.
Overseeing unit maintenance, ordering participant games and supplies, and supporting the nursing team to deliver high-quality clinical research.
Ensuring compliance with NZCR quality standards, GCP, workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience
Team player with self-motivation, strong organisation, and the ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to follow defined processes and instructions accurately.
Advanced troubleshooting skills and supportive of company policy.
PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MUSE, and MARS.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical research standards.
Healthcare-specific experience is beneficial.
