About the role: This role will see you managing the supply chain function within our clients’ Wellington business unit. With the support of 3 supply chain coordinators that will be reporting into you, you and your team will hold the accountability for all onsite inventory. This would see you planning for inventory, purchasing inventory, managing the inventory onsite and maintaining the master data associated with it.
This role is an opportunity to join a business unit that is experiencing large growth. With this large growth, building expansions are underway and a new IMS/ERP is in the process of being rolled out. You will need to be comfortable with rolling up your sleeves as part of this role is hands-on. With the business in a state of growth, you will need to be comfortable in working with a level of ambiguity and be confident in problem solving. Amongst the growth, there will be a need to bring your team along on the journey as systems and processes will be evolving. With this, strong leadership skills and change management experience within a supply chain environment are critical.
This role will present you with an opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders (junior up to C-Suite). You will have a consultative, Continuous Improvement mindset and enjoy using your problem-solving skills to improve supply chain processes, procedures and performance.
