CloudSquared is a customer centric IT service provider, and we are growing quickly. Our commitment to our customers has fueled our rapid growth, so we are on the lookout for Support Engineers to join the team. This success is primarily through word of mouth, so that should tell you that we excel at delivering positive user experiences.
This position is based out of our Avondale office when you are not onsite with our customers. At times there may be requirements for after-hours work, but as someone with IT support experience you already suspected that.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must read this ad the whole way through. 95% of applicants don't and are therefore not considered. We're looking for people with some experience working in an IT Support role - be it Helpdesk, Service Desk or Field Engineer. In the very least you should be comfortable navigating around an admin console, know what AD is and know how to resolve common desktop related issues.
If you can explain what a VLAN is, know how to deploy Virtual Machines, can manage SharePoint permissions and can navigate and deploy Azure Resources then even better. Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting 3CX is also a big plus!
You'll have completed, or are currently studying towards, some MS certification such as MS-100, MD-100 or AZ-104, but if you have other certs, let's see them.
As the role is customer facing - you'll need to be an excellent communicator who enjoys talking with and explaining things to people. Self-confidence is a must.
In a nutshell
This position is a blended one of Service Desk, Onsite support and Consultancy. You will get to know businesses’ intimately through building relationships and understanding their challenges. You will contribute to their success through IT solutions that you have had a hand in identifying, recommending and implementing. Everyone chips in on support effort, with calls and emails handled by all of the team, so you will need to be organised, detail orientated and a team player.
