About Us

Our Technology Group ensures functional operation of tightly integrated information systems within LIC. Through the core streams of Architecture, Digital Services, Digital Engineering and Portfolio Management, we ensure there is close integration and functional operation of systems delivered for both our internal and external customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, you will be part of a team which supports core business functions for LIC. Specifically, this role will be focused on the operational running, maintenance and changes to our core business software solutions which cover finance, sales, logistics, HR, payroll, CRM and associated functions.

You will provide the internal interface to liaise between third-party vendor partners around system changes and BAU support and will influence the priority of work to be done on behalf of the business units involved.

Currently these business functions are delivered through SAP solutions, specifically ECC v6 and CRM v7 and Success Factors for HR. There is a long-term vision to move more of this functionality into cloud-based solutions, so joining us now will put you in a great place to play a key role for that work as we work to modernise our offerings.

About You

We don't necessarily expect you to have in -depth technical experience in all the mentioned SAP capabilities but will likely have supported at least one of these areas directly and have experienced working with an SAP support vendor.

3+ years' experience as technical support for at least one of:
- SAP finance solutions
- SAP CRM solutions
- SAP payroll
- SAP Success Factors
Experience implementing change in critical systems
A philosophy of end to end ownership for issue resolution
A willingness to take on new learnings and be prepared to pitch in to support your colleagues as needs flex across our business seasonality
Good understanding of technology service delivery, project and applications management and the software development lifecycle
Proficient in producing quality documentation
High quality communication, both written and verbal
Strong relationship building skills
