What will you do?
This is a senior leadership position at Voyager responsible for leadership of our growing team of systems engineers and platform specialists, including driving practice improvements to continuously improve efficiency and productivity through the practice tools, automation, training, mindset and right staffing.

About You
You will have a passion for leading and developing people and will possess the following critical leadership competencies; Highly collaborative with an Agile mindset, questions actions inconsistent with our values, adaptable and open to change, committed to delivering an excellent customer experience and displays a growth mindset.
You will have at least 5 years' experience leading teams involved with internal and client facing infrastructure. You will have Tertiary Level Qualification in Information Technologies or Computing, or equivalent experience. Experience leading offshore teams an advantage.
You will have knowledge, experience, and confidence in the following:
· Expert knowledge of Linux, Windows and VMware infrastructure
· Triage and handle technical escalations from within the Systems Practice. Provide technical assistance and guidance through to resolution.
· This role requires a high degree of professionalism with a requirement for on-going technical and non-technical development.
· Good knowledge of networking, IP, subnets and firewalls (IPv4 and v6)
· Good knowledge of hosting platforms (Virtuozzo, SolusIO, Plesk)
· Good knowledge of mail environments (Postfix, Exim, O365/Exchange etc.)
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to persevere and look for alternative solutions to problems
· Ability to understand complex technical environments, comprising of multiple servers and dependencies spread across a nationwide network.
· Excellent documentation writing skills, with the ability to clearly and simply articulate complex ideas and solutions
· Understand technologies including broadband, fibre solutions, VoIP, hosting and email is beneficial
· Able to document and communicate processes from both a technical and non-technical perspective
· Understanding of Agile methodologies
