Mō te tūranga | About the role

Join Fulton Hogan as the National Talent Acquisition Coordinator and help create a smooth, positive recruitment experience from application through to offer. This role can be based in Christchurch or Auckland and plays a key part in supporting our Talent Acquisition team across the business.

You’ll work closely with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring leaders to keep things moving, coordinate the detail, and make sure candidates feel looked after at every step. It’s a great fit for someone who is organised, people-focused, and enjoys good work done with high standards and low ego.

This is Good Work in action: helping us bring great people into the business, while being part of a team that is flat, friendly, forward moving, and serious when it counts.

  • Coordinate interviews and act as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Provide clear, warm, and timely communication to candidates, hiring managers, and the wider team.

  • Deliver a positive and consistent candidate care experience for active applicants and talent prospects.

  • Manage and maintain our applicant tracking system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

  • Post job adverts internally and across external job boards.

  • Prepare recruitment documents, letters, and related administration as required.

  • Coordinate background and pre-employment checks.

  • Support the delivery of recruitment events, career fairs, and employer brand initiatives.

  • Help keep recruitment processes running smoothly, efficiently, and with a consistently positive experience.

  • A confident and professional communicator who can build strong relationships with a wide range of people.

  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail across documentation and data management.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or recruitment databases is an advantage.

  • A proactive and accountable approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help where needed.

  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering a great candidate experience.

  • KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones, up to 7%.

  • Parental leave top up payment with additional return to work support.

  • Ongoing training and development, with clear career growth and progression opportunities.

  • Great discounts at a wide range of retailers.

Ko wai mātou | About us

At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is about more than what we deliver. It’s how we show up, how we treat each other, and how we keep moving forward together. We’re not big on hierarchy or red tape. We work side by side, back good ideas, and keep things human. We take the work seriously, not ourselves. That means a relaxed, down to earth culture day to day, with serious standards where it matters most.

Our people are proud to create, connect, and care for communities across New Zealand. We also give back through local causes and industry partnerships, while working to reduce our environmental impact and deliver more sustainable infrastructure outcomes.

Me pēhea te tono | How to apply

If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you. Apply through our online portal and tell us why you’d be a great fit for the team.
