Nelson is renowned for its extraordinary depth of arts and heritage activities. We’ve a great opportunity for an experienced people leader to lead our amazing Arts and Heritage team.
This diverse role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of arts and heritage in Nelson. From partnering with community groups, enabling the delivery of our Arts and Heritage plans, to oversight our heritage facilities and community projects, no two days will be the same.
You’ll be a recognised leader with community or arts/heritage expertise and a flair for bringing strategy to life. Your excellent people and relationship management skills will ensure you form strong partnerships and engage with iwi and our community. Your political acumen, sound judgement and ability to manage budgets, contracts and resources will enable us to deliver a great service to our community.
