We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and high performing leader to join Councils hard workingCCTVteam.

The purpose of this busy role is to manage the daily operations of theCCTVteam and to be the conjugate for Police and other supporting agencies in the release of information under the Privacy Act 2020, while improving safety and perceptions of safety through the provision of efficient and effectiveCCTVmonitoring services.

The person we are looking for will demonstrate the following essential requirements to be successful:

  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship engagement and management skills to lead a team, providing on the job development guidance for staff.
  • Provenability to work as part of an inspirational team and to lead a team that isfocussedon an enabling environment.
  • Acceptance that the role will involve working shifts including some anti-social hours as per the agreed team roster.
  • Excellent relationship engagement skills with a strong customer focus andthe ability to positively influence others.
  • Highly effective analytical, observational, reporting/recording, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to express complex matters with simplicity and clarity, resolving any differences in views professionally and with integrity.
  • Provenability to adapt and deal effectively with changing priorities, technology and requirements.
  • Well organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise important activities/tasks and meettimeframeswhile demonstrating strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating honesty, integrity, fairness and respect in the day to day delivery of the role.
  • Ability to develop and sustain effective relationships with colleagues and external partners/agencies as appropriate.
