The Technical Business Analyst Treasury Systems position is critical to making this happen. This role sits in ANZ’s Treasury function and supports the management and development of the Oracle Financial Services Analytics Application (OFSAA) system, which performs Funds Transfer Pricing, RBNZ Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk management and reporting. Your role will involve collaborating with a wide range of areas across the bank to drive and deliver both internal and external stakeholder requirements and functional change, including Nga Tapuwae. Other key responsibilities of this role will include:
Provide critical support to the delivery of technical and functional changes to the OFSAA NZ system
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (including Treasury, CFO Units, Market & Treasury risk etc) to prioritise, develop and implement enhancements to OFSAA processes and reporting
Analyse and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Identify and drive improvements that can be made to OFSAA processes to increase team effectiveness and efficiency
Provide technical analysis and offer valuable input to wider bank projects (e.g across Technology or Business) to consistently deliver high quality outcomes for key business stakeholders

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous banking experience with sound knowledge across a range of banking and financial market products and their purpose .
Strong analytical capabilities, able to analyse outputs and identify appropriate technical changes and solutions
Financial modelling and technology skills including MS Excel, Access, VBA/SQL/SAS, OBIEE, relational databases
Self starter, ability to work confidently as part of a team or independently. Problem solver capable of self-training
Strong emphasis on both technical and business analysis skills and experience
Team worker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
