Our client is seeking a Technical Centre Manager to lead their in-house Technical Centre.

You will be responsible for leading a tight-knit team. Your days will be filled with optimising resource allocation and work in progress, all while providing guidance, leadership, and meticulous planning to ensure productivity.

The Technical Centre is at the heart of this company's operations, and they are on the lookout for a leader who can drive excellence in all aspects of its functioning, whilst still keen to express yourself on the tools.

The ideal candidate will be able to still work on basic mechanical installations and projects whilst at the same time manage the workshop and key relationships with other departments heads.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including resource coordination and workload allocation
• Implement and oversee the workshop system for efficient job management and recording
• Review and enhance processes to maximise profitability and quality and streamline workshop functions
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of two
• Maintain a strong focus on health and safety compliance
• Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers

Skills and Qualifications

• Trade qualified Motorcycle Technician
• Proven experience in managing a mechanical workshop, with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and managing teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations
• Competent computer skills and a full, clean Driver's License
