$160,000 monthly
With my clients AWS migration done, the focus moves away from building better infrastructure and instead building more resilient code and pipelines, more DEV than OPS. The new hire would need a specific blend of DevOps and traditional sysadmin skills:
· AWS Infrastructure: EC2 (self-managing databases/web servers), VPC, NLB, Lambda, API Gateway.
· Core DevOps/Web: Debian Linux, Nginx, PHP, CI/CD (GitHub), Akamai.
· Data & Caching: MySQL (EC2 hosted), Memcached, Solr, ELK Stack.
· Local/Network: Proxmox, Ubiquiti, Ansible, Git CI/CD
