About the Role:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will become part of a dynamic, high-performing team that is collaborative and driven. In this crucial role, you will drive market share growth within the food & beverage and light industry sectors across the Central North Island Region. Your focus will be on expanding our client base and enhancing relationships with existing clients, positioning yourself as a trusted partner and expert in maximizing sales and margins while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with a designated industry and customer list to maximize long-term sales and margins.
- Consistently represent the company with professionalism, upholding the business’ reputation for technical and commercial excellence.
- Understand customer needs to effectively position our products and services.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
- Maintain and manage all sales-related activities using the company's quotation app.
- Develop and implement a strategic call cycle plan to optimize customer engagement.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, contributing to the annual sales budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met with the highest standards of service and quality.
About You:
- Previous experience in a technical sales role in industrial environments.
- Customer centric mindset focused on solution selling outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications either trade or tertiary (preferable but not mandatory)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel frequently with a current driver's license (travel is expected to be approximately a total of 1 week per month)
