About this role:
Due to the growth of our product we’re on hunt for the right person to join our team in the area of technical support for an evening role to cover our Northern Hemisphere customer base. Through a mixture of ticket and prebooked support calls you will use your expert knowledge on our product to assist our customers.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 9PM - 5.30AM based out of our Christchurch office.
This role has two primary functions:
Overall, you’ll become an expert at installing, configuring, troubleshooting and our software.
Technical experience we're looking for:
Sound knowledge of Windows, Linux, MacOS
Familiarity with configuring, administering and troubleshooting:
Windows Server, including Hyper-V,
Active Directory,
SQL Server,
Authenticode,
Comfortable in Powershell
Linux-based servers, including:
Debian and RedHat operating systems,
KVM/qemu, Xen hypervisors,
Comfortable in Bash or similar terminal
Cloud and virtualised environments, including:
AWS, Azure
Cloud/S3-compatible storage
Networks, for example
Routers, firewalls, proxies + TLS, DNS, TCP/IP
