Job Description:

We're seeking Mobile Network Technicians for full-time permanent positions, offering a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with Sundays available by mutual agreement. 

As a Mobile Network Technician, you'll dive into diverse tasks within mobile network operations. Your role encompasses everything from building, upgrading, and installing cell towers to commissioning and maintaining telecom network components. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting build, upgrade, and installation processes for cell towers
• Utilizing Sitemaster/PIM tester and other testing software
• Commissioning and proof of network performance
• Nationwide travel for job assignments
• Fault finding and repair of RAN equipment
• RF acceptance testing (Drive Testing)
• Microwave commissioning and fault investigation
• RF cable terminations (coax 450, 550, LMR)
• Requirements:

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in the Mobile Telecommunications industry

and/or 

• ​​a New Zealand Certificate in Telecommunications (Level 3) 

Desirable requirements

• Experience with Samsung, Huawei, Nokia, and Ericsson BTS equipment
• Understanding of RF cabling and handling
• Competency with a variety of handheld power tools

The successful applicant will be based primarily in the Auckland and Waikato regions. All reasonable travel costs will be covered by the company and accommodation arranged for jobs in different regions.
