What We Are Looking For 

We are seeking a passionate and driven candidate to take up the role of Territory Manager in Gisborne. This role is pivotal in developing new business opportunities and fostering client relationships.  As territory manager you will be responsible to proactively manage clients, exploring and helping them attain their future ambitions, analyse, and target new business opportunities in the region as well as ensuring delivery of contracted management services. 

As the territory manager you will provide inspirational leadership to the Gisborne team and guide their professional development.  You will be responsible to prepare and update the territory’s business plan and direct the team’s activities to ensure delivery thereof.  As a champion of Safety, you will ensure the application of industry best practice in terms of Health, Safety and Environmental objectives and will foster strong relationship with contractors and stakeholders and manage business contracting risks.

 About You

Enthusiasm, energy, integrity, and a growth mindset are important qualities we look for in our people. Ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification in Forestry or a related degree and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.  Additional qualifications / experience in business administration or a commercial field will be advantageous.  You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability in new work development and client management. You will have the ability to build strong relationships, have sound commercial acumen and a solid understanding of translating strategic goals into operational plans.
