Territory Manager - Otago/Southland Regions

We are looking for someone to join our team due to an internal promotion. This role would suit someone with a strong sales background or a plumber looking to get off the tools and into a new career in sales with a proven brand.

Role Description

We are looking for a switched on, dynamic and commercially savvy Territory Manager to join our sales team, managing a portfolio of Plumbing, Rural, Irrigation and Hardware merchants as well as end user engagement in a key territory that spans the Otago and Southland regions. Our previous Territory Manager has left this region in a good shape allowing for the potential to continue to take the region forward.

Calling on our diverse client, and merchant network, you will be driven by building effective relationships, and pride yourself on your industry knowledge and tailored solutions.

To be successful in this role you will bring strong time management and a customer focused outlook, as well as 

• Previous Account Management experience and proven sales ability
• An understanding and knowledge of the plumbing industry would be advantageous
• Innovative thinking with an understanding of our customers needs.
• The ability to build strong, influential and effective relationships 
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Drive to work autonomously, while contributing to the overall team
• The ability to provide expert product support and advice to customers
• Flexibility to travel as required
