These new roles with Permobil NZ are due to continued growth and expansion. Although the successful applicant for this Territory Sales Manager role would predominately operate out of the Permobil Wellington office, we are interested to hear from any candidates based in the Central North Island regions. Working from home or based out of a satellite office is possible. Sales territories covered would include the Taranaki, South Waikato, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay regions.

The Role

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will plan and execute strategies and manage therapists and funders to achieve your sales budgets and objectives through excellent clinical outcomes for our end users in your territory. We are looking for individuals who are problem solvers and solution orientated with fantastic communication.  If you are someone within the health/clinical space, specifically have physiotherapy or occupational therapy experience this would be beneficial but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with health clinicians to advise and support in their prescription of disability and rehabilitation medical equipment.
  • Based on clinical referrals, provide scripted and correctly configured medical equipment for trial.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline of trial equipment through regular follow-up and proficient use of Permobil ERP system (Propella / Power BI)
  • Product in-service to prescribing Therapists and technical subcontractors.
  • Running clinical training events with Permobil Education team
  • Participation in Tradeshows and conferences
  • Market intelligence gathering for local territory.
  • Weekly reporting to management
  • Represent all Permobil products in their market.

About You 

  • Has a clear understanding of the Sales process
  • Experience in key account management and excellent Sales relationships 
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving sales targets with a focus on high performance
  • Possess health/clinical industry experience (desirable)
  • Able to use hand tools and software systems to correctly configure trial equipment
  • Working knowledge of the New Zealand health funding system - Te Whatu Ora / ACC (desirable)
  • Has an empathic attitude and has an awareness of the disability/accessibility community
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
