We're on the lookout for keen and hard working Traffic Management Operatives to join our growing civil construction team based in Penrose, Auckland! You’ll be part of a leading organisation, with excellent career path and development opportunities.

As a Downer Traffic Management Operative , You Will Assist With Temporary Traffic Management Under The Direction Of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Ultimately You Will Work To Ensure The Safety Of Your Crew And The General Public Through Clear And Accurate Direction Of Traffic. You Will Also

 

• Help with sign and cone placement and pack down

• Assist with stop/go activity

• Assist with general tasks to help your crew achieve project plans and targets

Skills

If you enjoy spending your days on your feet and outdoors, this would be your perfect next move! You will have a can-do attitude, strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate your team. We’d also value:

 

• Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit

• Some experience in traffic management would be beneficial 

• Full NZ Drivers Licence

• A commitment and confidence to maintain safe work practices

• Confident in communicating with the public
