Trade Assistant & Maintenance Technician - Tauranga

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant / Maintenance Technician to join our team at Excel Tauranga. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced technicians and support them in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance and  repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Transport equipment and materials to job sites

• Perform basic tasks such as lifting, carrying, and assembling components

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

YOU WILL NEED:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

• Clear communication skills

• A good listener

• Hands on attitude

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects

• Valid unrestricted New Zealand driver's licence

• Basic understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems is an advantage
