THE OPPORTUNITY:

On offer is a junior role, within our experienced team that requires a self-starter who will be interacting with high performance sales teams spread throughout the country, working closely with them to achieve goals and maximise the commercial inventory for our radio stations. The software applications are based on Microsoft as well as programmes designed specifically for radio, with full training provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate the advertising, booking, scheduling and billing systems for NZME Radio.
• Finalise the daily Commercial Schedule for each station for broadcast.
• Assist with managing the ad placements and commercial availability.
• Be familiar with the relevant Advertising standards and codes of practice to ensure they're not breached.
• You will have both internal & external customers to keep happy on a daily, weekly and monthly basis so it is a must that you have excellent customer focus and great people skills.

ABOUT YOU:

• Some experience in an administration or coordination role would be ideal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communications skills.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to and handle change as well as multi-task & prioritise to meet deadlines.
