We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to join our team. This role will ensure the smooth coordination and scheduling of our nationwide training programme. Training courses we deliver include:
- Biosecurity - Accredited Person and Transitional Facility Operator training
- Customs Broker and Freight Forwarding
- Forklift (onsites only)
- Dangerous Goods
- IATA
- Manual Handling
- Health and Safety
- First Aid
This is a dynamic role, where no day will be the same so you will need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where things are frequently changing. Areas you will be responsible for:
- Creating the Nationwide schedule and continuous monitoring of the schedule
- Liaising with IVS Trainers
- Venue bookings – liaising with venue representatives
- Liaising with Business Manager and clients about onsite bookings
- Ensuring sufficient programme resources are available
- Managing allocated compliance and certification processes
- Keeping the learning management system up to date
Coordinating the schedule is working with puzzle pieces that are continually moving. To be successful in this role you will ideally:
- Be able to understand the strategic big picture while managing the details
- Have proven coordination/scheduling experience
- Have an eye for detail, but have flexibility and be able to adjust to the moment
- Enjoy problem-solving and be solution focused
- Have superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability of building strong and lasting relationships
- Be proficient in the Microsoft suite
- Be passionate about people and delivering a high standard of customer service to all stakeholders
- Have initiative
Hours of work are 7am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Airport Oaks training centre in Auckland.
Salary: Up to $80,000 per annum for the right candidate.
