Looking for a passionate Travel Associate with strong work ethics and skills below who will be part of our growing team and can work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Technical Skills:
- GDS (Amadeus)
- Social media (manage Facebook ads) / Email / Digital marketing
- Online design and visual communication platform (Canva)
- Microsoft suite
- Sales and insurance industry experience
- Finance and accounting skills (familiar with Xero accounting software)
- Familiar with Go Holidays, Trafalgar and Expedia travel
- Knowledgeable in using CRM (Capsule)

The duties and responsibilities of the employee include, but not limited to those outlined below.
- Create and design facebook ads and manage company social media page.
- Deal with corporate accounts and cash passengers.
- Keep financial and insurance statements and documents.
- Plan and organize travels, tours, cruise for clients providing information on tourist attractions and tour availability.
- Notify clients of travel dates, baggage limits, and medical and visa requirements
- Provide information on travel insurance, relevant government regulations such as customs regulations.
- Book tickets, reserve accommodation, organize rental transportation.
- Increase revenue and profit through promotions and social media.
- Attend conferences to get abreast of the latest trend in the tourism industry.
- Create invoices and reconcile financial transactions.
- Identify and implement improvements within the business operations.
- Follow up client’s enquiries.
- Create and update booking records of clients.
- Suggest itineraries based on available travel routes and cost, availability and convenience of transport that best suite client needs.
