Lead from the front and help keep critical underground infrastructure projects moving.

We have two exciting Regional Supervisor opportunities leading Underground Service Locator activities for our Energy business:

• Northern Regional Supervisor based in Wiri, Auckland
• Southern Regional Supervisor based in Lower Hutt, Wellington
   

These are hands-on leadership roles where you’ll coordinate regional workloads, support your team in the field and ensure every job is delivered safely, accurately and to a high standard.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead, coach and support a regional team of Service Locators
• Plan workloads, allocate resources and monitor delivery against targets
• Provide quality assurance across completed projects
• Manage subcontractor performance, site standards and compliance
• Track productivity, budgets, purchase orders and work progress
• Build client relationships and support business growth

Ngā pūkenga matua | What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who can keep a team focused, a work programme moving and customers confident in the service they receive.

Leading from the field, you’ll step in practically when support is needed and help your team deliver safe, accurate and timely work. 

You’ll bring:

• Experience in underground service locating or a related infrastructure industry
• Previous team leadership, supervision or coaching experience
• Strong planning skills and the ability to coordinate people, plant and equipment
• Sound knowledge of locating and GIS equipment, practices and procedures
• Confident communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• A current New Zealand driver licence
• B4UDig Locator Certification and a current STMS qualification would be advantageous.
