The company seeks to employ a dynamic and experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive the continued success of the dealership.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team by example, fostering exceptional customer engagement and utilising customer satisfaction scoring to enhance the overall customer experience
• Actively trade-in and sell both new and used vehicles alongside your management duties, ensuring the department meets its sales targets while maintaining high standards of service.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales revenue, drive customer loyalty, and achieve business objectives.
• Create and implement strategies to build and maintain the organisation's image and reputation with customers, investors, and the wider public.
• Direct promotional strategies to promote the organization's goods and services to a wide audience, enhancing brand visibility and market share

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an automotive vehicle sales department, with expertise in purchasing, stock control, DMS processes, and relevant legislation
• Positive and results-driven attitude, with a passion for achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations
• Proven ability to mobilise teams to achieve greatness, recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance within a team-based environment
• Excellent communication, decision-making, motivation, and organizational skills
• Strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining a positive organisational image and reputation
• Proficiency in financial management and analytical skills to monitor and optimize departmental performance

Benefits

• This is a salaried role of $85,000 to $100,000 dependent on experience and past results

• 40 hours working week with rostered weekdays in lieu of weekend work

• Company car
