Vet Nurse Coordinator

We’re looking for a Vet Nurse Coordinator to help strengthen and support nursing excellence across our clinics.

This is a unique opportunity to continue doing what you love - clinical nursing (60% of the role) - while also taking a leading role in promoting consistency, and a “One Team” approach to how we deliver high-quality nursing care across our clinics (40% of the role). You will be working closely with Head Nurses across the business to strengthen collaboration, and consistency across all clinics.

 What the role involves:

• Reviewing and refining nursing protocols, procedures, and standards to align with best practice and promote consistency across the business


• Leading initiatives that help our nursing teams thrive—at clinic and regional level
  


• Coordinating regular meetings with regional nursing representatives to enhance relationships and communication


• Collaborating with clinical teams and L&D to identify training needs and coordinate training


• Co-creating eLearning content focused on best practice nursing and protocols


• Working with L&D to create an induction framework to ensure a consistent experience for new team members


• Engaging with the Allied Veterinary Professional Regulatory Council to stay updated on regulatory changes and share key updates


• Promoting continuous professional development and opportunities for growth across the nursing team

You'll still be hands-on with patients, but this role also gives you scope to influence how we do things across the business - supporting others, shaping training, and helping make sure our nurses feel confident and supported in their roles.
