Veterinary Nurse

Are you a Veterinary Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families? We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Diploma-qualified Vet Nurse to join our team in Papakura on a part-time basis.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our team, you’ll provide outstanding nursing care, assisting our veterinarians and delivering top-notch service to our patients and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing veterinary nursing procedures under the guidance of skilled veterinarians.


• Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anaesthesia.


• Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples.


• Assisting with X-rays and patient monitoring and treatment.


• Placing IV catheters.


• Conducting veterinary nurse consults, offering expert advice on pet health, nutrition, and wellbeing.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma-qualified Veterinary Nurse who thrives on creating meaningful connections with clients and patients. Your warm and friendly manner, paired with your ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure, makes you an invaluable team player.

In our busy and dynamic environment, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team of veterinarians, nurses, and customer services, all driven to deliver high standards of medical and surgical care. We are open 7 days a week, so a willingness to be part of the weekend roster is expected.
