Veterinary Retail Support

We’re looking for a part time (32 hours per week) sales focussed team player to join our Winton clinic as Veterinary Retail Support.

About the Role:

As our Veterinary Retail Support, you will be working closely with our Production Animal Veterinarians to ensure we are proactively offering a full suite of services and products to our existing client base.

You'll be someone that can work with and apply data to support your information gathering and knowledge sharing to identify opportunities for growth. You'll share this information with manager to enable us to deliver sales growth and increased customer service.

You'll have a part to play in ensuring we build stability in our product levels through supporting the forecasting process and internal promotions.

No day will be the same, and you'll also support our Farm Services team by ensuring that client referrals are followed up on, and that client sales records are actively and accurately updated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering accurate and timely information to support our Vet teams


• Research, prepare and maintain reports based on client sales data


• Support the Veterinary team in developing business development strategies


• Ensuring customer sales data is accurate and up to date

Key Skills Required:

• A high degree of accuracy, data analysis and input (Strong Excel skills are a must)


• Top rate communication skills, both verbal and written


• Ability to multitask and prioritise


• Ability to work with multiple teams


• A good understanding of business development/sales process

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in a business development role


• Confident communicator who builds rapport easily


• An understanding of the agricultural sector would be ideal, but if you are willing to learn fast, that's ok too!


• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.


• Strong Microsoft 365 suite skills or willingness to learn.
