Warehouse Assistant - Avondale

ROLE SUMMARY:
  
We are Petdirect.co.nz, an online one-stop shop for all your pet needs.  Our vision of leading the pack in making it easier for Kiwi pet parents to provide the best life for their pets is what drives us.  We want to provide an amazing experience for pet parents and their pets as through happy pets we live better lives.  We are proudly NZ-owned and operated by a great team of Petsters.  
  
Our business is growing and so is our team, this means we need All Paws In.  We are looking for a reliable, hard working and committed Warehouse Assistant to join our awesome team of Petsters at our Avondale Warehouse.  
  
The role will include picking, packing, inwards and dispatch as well as associated duties and responsibilities.
  
We are currently looking to expand our team with one full-time team member.  Working either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, shifts can change depending on business growth so we are looking for people who can be flexible.

Aside from your love of animals, we are also looking for people who:

• Have reach & hoist experience (not necessarily required as we do have pick/pack only roles available).
• Have experience with picking and packing in a warehouse environment.
• Are flexible and willing to help out where needed.
• Are extremely reliable and committed to their shifts.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Have common sense and practical in their approach.
• Show great initiative and are not afraid to jump in where needed.
• Have great communication skills.
• Are team players and run with our pack.
• Are open to shift work in a seven day a week business.
• Are able to lift up to 25kgs.
