Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver

Coffee Partners Ltd is the wholesale division of Coffee Culture, a Christchurch based company with 19 coffee shops across New Zealand. We started out with a single drum roaster in our original Coffee Culture  Sumner store back in 1996, roasting the finest blend of Arabica beans instore for our guests to enjoy. Today our Roastery/Warehouse is based in central Christchurch. Our wholesale division is responsible for supplying roasted coffee beans to our Coffee Culture shops, as well as supplying a range of imported and local products to cafes, retailers and to consumers nationwide. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and loves coffee. It is a full-time role Monday-Friday with some flexibility for start times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, shipping & delivery of store and eCommerce orders.
• Data entry and computer based work
• Accurate recording of inwards and outwards goods- inventory control
• Assisting the wholesale team to keep the warehouse and equipment clean, tidy and operating efficiently

What You’ll bring to the Team;

Must have’s:

• Great customer service mindset
• Great communication skills and be a real team player, working with our stores and Support Office team. 
• A keen eye for working safely
• Good physical fitness as you will be on your feet for most of the day and be required to complete manual handling tasks throughout the day
• A good level of computer literacy skills and the ability to pick up new systems.  
• Reliable, and have a good attention to detail
• A full, current, and clean NZ driver's licence so you can personally deliver coffee and supplies to our locally based Coffee Culture stores each week

Nice to have’s: (don’t worry, full training will be provided if you are not experienced with the following)

• Current Forklift licence  
• Experience working in a warehouse 
• Experience in stock control and inventory management (We use MYOB)
• Coffee Roasting (learning how to roast coffee beans as a back up to our Head Roaster)
