Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Safety and Security:
  - Maintain and enforce safety and security protocols.
  - Ensure the health and safety of all team members and visitors.

2. Inventory Management:
  - Maintain accurate stock and inventory levels.
  - Ensure precise inventory tracking.

3. Team Leadership:
  - Communicate job expectations and assign tasks.
  - Motivate and lead the warehouse team.
  - Develop and train warehouse employees.

4. Process Optimization:
  - Monitor and improve the efficiency of warehouse processes.
  - Implement lean management techniques to minimize waste.
  - Reduce turnaround times and improve order fulfillment accuracy.

5. Supplier and Customer Coordination:
  - Liaise with suppliers for timely order placements and deliveries.
  - Communicate with customers regarding their orders.

6. Administrative Duties:
  - Handle administrative tasks such as E-ship, NZ Post, and manifests.
  - Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
  - Keep accurate records of all warehouse activities.

7. Operational Tasks:
  - Organize dispatches of goods.
  - Load/unload pallets and move equipment as needed.
  - Drive the company van (manual) for collections and deliveries.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg).
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Comfortable working in various temperature conditions.

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment.
