About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to manage and look after both of our Distribution Centre’s in the region. You will be responsible for the day to day operations for both sites as well as managing the teams. Your duties will include ensuring that you met all Financial / P&L objectives, Health & Safety requirements and Human Resources requirements. You will also undertake and be involved in improvement projects associated with the business to ensure continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Developing the overall strategy of the sites
• Providing leadership support to the Supervisors and Team Leaders on site
• Create and foster great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the business
• Maintain a safety focused culture by exemplifying and enforcing safe workplace behaviour
• Take on a solutions focused approach to challenges and ensure a high level of compliance
• Assist the overall management team to implement company-wide policies, procedures and systems
• Complete H&S investigations
• Ensure all inventory operations are completed correctly
• Customer management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in leading a busy Distribution Centre
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Knowledgeable on audits and H&S protocols
• Practical leadership experience in a warehousing environment including the recruitment, professional development and performance measurement of talent
• Strong relationship builder and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
