Warranty Team Leader - Nationwide Opportunity

Keith Andrews Trucks is one of New Zealand’s leading commercial vehicle dealerships, proudly representing Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Fuso and Detroit. We are looking for an experienced Warranty Team Leader to lead and strengthen our nationwide warranty administration function.

Reporting to the Aftersales Centralised Services Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing warranty processes across multiple dealerships, ensuring claims are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer requirements. This position can be based at any major Keith Andrews Trucks dealership across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a nationwide team of Warranty Administrators

• Establish and maintain centralised warranty processes across all locations

• Process and manage warranty claims, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with the manufacturer

• Process Invoice warranty repair orders when required

• Ensure warranty claims are submitted accurately and within manufacturer guidelines

• Manage workload distribution to ensure claims are processed without delay

• Resolve escalated warranty queries from administrators, departments, and customers

• Monitor outstanding, rejected, and work-in-progress claims

• Conduct warranty audits and maintain compliance standards

• Maintain strong relationships with warrantors and internal departments

• Develop and maintain warranty policies, procedures, and training

• Maximise warranty recovery through accurate claim management

About You

• 4–5 years’ warranty experience within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry

• Previous leadership or senior warranty experience preferred

• Strong understanding of warranty processes, compliance and claim management

• Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and dealership systems

• Ability to prioritise work and perform well in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner or Detroit warranty systems would be advantageous.
