We currently have a vacancy for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. The role of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator includes maintenance of the treatment plant and ensures that the wastewater treatment facility is maintained and operational at all times. The role also assists with consent compliance monitoring, some administrative tasks and the supervision of suppliers and contractors while they are on-site. We are seeking a qualified operator with either the Level 4 National certificate in wastewater treatment or the Level 5 NZ diploma in wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will have an aptitude towards mechanical maintenance, and general laboring and maintenance duties, excellent communication and customer service skills, they will manage their time well, and will be committed to safety at all times.
