Job Description: 

We are seeking a creative and talented Junior Web Designer and digital content marketing strategist to join our team in Te Puke. The ideal candidate will have experience in using WordPress and other eminent content management solutions, Divi and other premium themes, and will be proficient in social media management and email marketing tools like Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Mailchimp.  

You will be backed by an experienced web developer and will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality web solutions. 

You will also be expected to meet with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional and attractive websites. Key Responsibilities: 

• Monthly site updates and maintenance.
• Design and develop websites using WordPress with Divi and other premium themes.
• Customize WordPress themes to suit client requirements.
• Ensure website functionality and stability across devices (i.e., desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
• Manage and update content on websites.
• Conduct client meetings to understand their needs and project requirements.
• Develop and implement social media strategies for platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
• Design and distribute email campaigns using Mailchimp.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align web design with marketing strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns and Google My Business listings.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other relevant tools. 

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in WordPress and experience with Divi and other premium themes.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.
• Experience with email marketing tools, particularly Mailchimp.
• Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take and implement feedback.
• Ability to meet with clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• A degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with additional CMS platforms.
• Basic understanding of web hosting and domain management.
