About us: 

 NZ Welding Trades and Services and Solomon Group, is a leading private provider, of international and domestic education and vocational training, and has been servicing the needs of New Zealand communities for 25 years by preparing students for employment in a wide range of different careers and industries. 

NZ Welding School Auckland is looking for an experienced Welders to deliver our Welding Programme to the next generation of welders. 

We are seeking a fulltime Tutor who is passionate about passing on the trade. 

We are looking for a team player who brings: 

Communication skills - (verbal and written) attention to detail is important 

Be able to work co-operatively and positively with colleagues and students 

Have excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to be flexible  

Ability to make a fun and effective learning environment  

Important experience you will have: 

Strong English skills and ability to confidently talk with a group of students.

NZ Citizen or Permanent Residence

Passionate about teaching the next generation 

Important skills you will bring: 

In depth understanding of welding and cutting processes 

Knowledge of welding different metal types; steel, aluminum or stainless steel 

Ability to read, understand and use Welding Procedure Specification sheets 

Computer skills 

People development and instructional skills and abilities 

Problem solving and multi-tasking skills 

Can adapt to a changing fast-paced environment 

Motivated and professional with a positive attitude
