About Brittain Wynyard:

Role Summary:
We are seeking a focused & determined Wholesale Account Manager to drive the growth and development of our high profile, market leading lifestyle brands including Birkenstock, Timberland and Clarks. We are looking for an energetic & enthusiastic person who is not afraid to get stuck in and work in partnership with their customers to deliver outstanding results. 

The Account Manager is expected to drive sales growth with our key retail partners as well as exploring new sales opportunities in their sales area. The role will be Auckland based with accounts located across the country.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated with an exceptional eye for detail and an ability to form strong relationships with their customers. You’ll be results driven and have a history of achieving sales targets on the back of hard work and sound business planning. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relations within a defined sales territory
  • Presenting new product ranges as well as conducting staff training events
  • Achieving sales targets and objectives 
  • Regular travel across the North and South Island, based in Auckland
  • Developing and converting new business opportunities
  • Reporting to key internal stakeholders regarding sales performance, market trends & competitor activity/analysis 
  • Merchandising Brittain Wynyard products in key retail partners stores
  • Assisting with the Implementation of Key Marketing Strategies 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Field-based account management experience within footwear, fashion or lifestyle brands
  • A proven track record of overachieving sales targets and business objectives 
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and has experience managing their own territory
  • Outstanding presentation and relationship management skills 
  • Sound computer skills and ability interpret sales reports
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • The ability to travel extensively across New Zealand
