Workshop Foreman with WoF Licence

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman who has a great attitude. This role is perfect for a licenced WoF inspector who has experience leading a team, sharing their vast knowledge, and ensuring the efficient diagnosis and repair of a variety of vehicles. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform up to four WoF inspections per day, allowing ample time to manage and support staff.
• Attending to customers face to face and on the telephone.
• Oversee and guide the team, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient job flow.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, manage job assignments, and monitor progress, stepping in where required to assist and get the job done.
• Work closely with the Admin Manager to estimate job costs, source parts, and update clients on diagnostics, costs, and repair progress.
• Utilize your excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Use the SAM/Orion system for job management (training provided).
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on cars and light commercial vehicles.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Extensive experience as a WoF mechanic, with a comprehensive understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Current and valid WoF licence.
• Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication abilities, both with team members and clients.
• Positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes learning to use Orion.
