We are looking for a permanent Tutor to teach level 1 -3 programmes within a military context. This is a role with a mix of in class teaching (numeracy and literacy) and some physical training activities.
Role purpose This position is responsible for teaching young learners, giving them an innovative, motivational, supportive and quality learning experience. Classes are delivered on campus in the classroom and physical training, linked to the learning takes place outside. Key to this role is to equip them with a range of learning and activities which will lead them to a career with the defence force.
Does this sound like you? - Ex- defense force or similar with a passion for teaching young learners
- Numeracy and literacy teaching experience in secondary or tertiary education in New Zealand
- Passionate about fitness, physically fit as you will be executing drills
- min Tertiary qualified at level 4 or above
- New Zealand Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education Level 5 is preferred or willingness to work towards it
