This is the role for YOU! At BestStart, we are recruiting Reliever Teachers to join our Reliever Team. Our Reliever Team plays an integral role in the operation of our centres nationwide. As a Teacher for us, you will have the opportunity to work with our Tamariki and make a difference to their learning and development. As a Reliever Teacher, you will be working alongside the permanent staff and be involved in the day-to-day activities of the class. Looking for guidance of where you may be needed but also using your initiative to see opportunities to be helpful and a part of the team. No day will be the same, as our BestStart Relievers can work across any of our centres, offering a variety of work daily.

Also, not to mention, stunning wineries, great retail and world class hospitality - no wonder is it popular. BestStart has four centres across this region - two in Queenstown, one in Arrowtown, and one in Wanaka (a small drive away).

To be considered to work as a Teacher, you must have the below: 

• NZ qualification in ECE or Primary (BEd/Grad Dip) Level 7 minimum
• NZ Registration – current (Provisional or Full) with NZ Teaching Council
• NZQA endorsement completed for overseas quals – must be endorsed at Level 7 or higher, and be endorsed to work at NZ ECE level. 
• Applicants MUST have eligibility to work in New Zealand.
